How to lose droopy sides of tummy

Hi there, can you help me please. I have put on quite a bit of weight due to the menopuase(i am 50 in a few weeeks time) and have battled with my weight for what seems like all my life.

I am trying very hard to accpt the new weight gain, but now have developed a roll of fat at the side of my tummy, which appeared after i had a hysterectomy many years ago and was small, but now is much bigger and is very uncomfortable with my underwear, it al seems to be growing around my bottom half, and feels uncomfortable with the roll of droopy fat with all i seem to wear.

Can you offer me any advice please. I am unable to do very little in the excercise area due to M e fibromyalgia and arthritis too.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Jane

Answer Hello Jane - I'm sorry that I can't recommend a magical way to lose the droopy sides of your tummy. It isn't possible to spot-reduce, and to lose weight all over you need to follow a healthy diet and cut out junk food, cakes, chocolate and sweets and fatty foods, eating plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, lean protein and wholegrain carbohydrates instead.

To target a particular part of your body, you will need to do any exercises that you can manage that target your oblique muscles. You should consult your physician to see which exercises might be possible.
